PREMIERE: Listen To ‘Footprints’ From ‘Miles At The Fillmore’ Bootleg Vol. 3 – Speakeasy

The new four-CD box, Miles At The Fillmore – Miles Davis 1970: The Bootleg Series Vol. 3 set, due March 25, presents his unedited performances from the Fillmore East in New York, adding 135 minutes of previously unreleased music that includes a handful of tracks culled from performances earlier that year at the Fillmore West in San Francisco. The Wall Street Journal’s Speakeasy today premieres one of those tunes, “Footprints,” which the jazz trumpeter and his band performed on April 11, 1970.
