“I went out to see the flowers late in the day as the sun was setting. Thinking of you (the Miles Davis family) and listening to the most innovative musician in history. It’s a beautiful day in New York city, with so many visitors. The top of the monument is covered in little pebbles as so many fans have been by this week to pay their respects.”
