‘The Miles Davis Exhibit: We’re Miles Ahead’ At Jackson State University Through November 30

Jackson State University has unveiled The Miles Davis Exhibit: We’re Miles Ahead, featuring 15 selections of personal art and photos created by the globally renowned musician and artist. The opening reception was hosted by William B. Bynum, Jr., Ph.D, President of Jackson State University, who was joined by Erin Davis (son of Miles Davis), Vince Wilburn, Jr. (nephew of Miles Davis) and Darryl Porter, GM, Miles Davis Properties, LLC.

The exhibit will be located at the university’s downtown campus through November 30. Jackson State University, founded in 1877, is a historically black, high research activity university located in Jackson, the capital city of Mississippi.
