Rubberband, a new EP with previously unreleased Miles Davis music, will be released on Record Store Day, April 21. The recording comes from a project called “Rubberband of Life” featuring Al Jarreau and Chaka Khan which was shelved in 1985. It remained unfinished until the original producers, Randy Hall and Zane Giles, recruited Miles’ nephew Vince Wilburn, Jr. and Grammy-winning singer Ledisi to complete the EP. A whole album release is expected later this year. Read more at JazzFM.
