Brand New Discovery Channel Series To Feature Dogfish Head’s Bitches Brew!

Make sure to tune into the Discovery Channel early next year to catch the premiere of “Brewed”, hosted by Sam Calagione, owner of Dogfish Head Brewery in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and featuring Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew beer! One episode will be entirely dedicated to Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew, a commemorative beer created to celebrate the 40th Anniversary release of Miles Davis’ famous recording. Although the show won’t be airing until early next year, don’t worry because the beer and the 40th Anniversary release of Bitches Brew will both be available on August 31st! In “Brewed”, Sam shows viewers the other side of the beer bottle, sharing stories of beer sub-cultures as well as exploring life inside The Dogfish Head Brewery. “Brewed” goes behind the scens at Dogfish Head as Sam’s merry band of creative brewmasters concoct new taste varieties.

According to Clark Bunting, President and General Manager of Discovery Channel, “Brewed taps more then just kegs and barrels, it unlocks a fascinating history of beer making, showcasing the ingenuity and passion behind our love affair with those alluring suds and how it played a role in building civilizations.”
